Dele Adesina is an experienced wealth advisor, financier and investor. He is an alumni of Dulwich College and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He qualified as a Chartered Wealth Manager through the UK’s Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
Dele is a partner of Westwood Investment Consulting which facilitates corporate advisory, capital raising and market entry across Africa. He is also founder of Hekima International Private Office www.hekimainternational.com. Dele is also Partner of Cornerstone Partners LLP, the UK’s first Angel Investment network for investing and empowering UK businesses owned by diverse founders.
Prior to this, Dele’s career includes long periods at each of Coutts & Co, Royal Bank of Canada Private Bank, and Standard Chartered Private Bank London (spanning 2004 to 2020).
Throughout his career, he has facilitated corporate transactions, real estate development projects and connected capital with opportunity.
Matthew spent over 20 years working for a number of top tier Private Banks advising HNW families and actively involved in property lending, property development, investment advice, foreign exchange, cross border investment, trusts and offshore structures with a particular emphasis on Southern Africa where he travelled regularly. He is a member of the Institute of Financial Services and Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment.
Henry Hollingdrake, Executive Director
South African/British-Dual Citizen; South Africa and United Kingdom. Degree and qualifications in Finance, International Taxation, Law and Estate Planning from both South Africa and the United Kingdom. I have been active in financial & fiduciary services industry in excess of 25 years. My working life has thus far been spent in the Auditing/Taxation (International and Domestic) Legal and Financial Services world. Specialties include Investment Banking; Cross-Border strategies and finance; Private client management, from structured international Estate plans to advising on & setting up business and personal structures in appropriate countries and jurisdictions. Part-Time Lecturer to the University of Pretoria, MSC Real Estate Masters’ Degree and University of Cape Town Business School MBA. Working in Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East & India, United Kingdom and the United States.
Seun Oshunkoya, Executive Director
Seun began his professional career with Dewey Ballantine LLP (a Wall
Street Law Firm) in 1996 upon graduation from King’s College, London
with an LL.B. (Hons) in 1995. He specialized in Chapter 11 Corporate
Bankruptcy and Reorganization, focusing on utilities and the energy
sector. Following an opportunity to facilitate the market entry of
US-based telecommunications company Worldwide Talk Communications Ltd
into Nigeria in 2001, in which he served as an Executive Director, Seun
has spent the last 19 years as an investor (telecoms, real estate,
hospitality), investment and financial advisor, capital raiser and
market entry facilitator for Foreign Direct Investors across many
sectors in Nigeria and other African markets. He founded Westwood
Investment Consultancy Services Ltd in 2007 and acts as Principal
Partner and is also a Director and Shareholder of Westwood Hotel, Ikoyi,
Lagos. He spent 5 years as Nigeria Country Head for MNCapital Africa
Advisors, a South Africa-based firm before joining YI Partners Ltd, a
Singapore-based advisory firm with an Asia into Africa thesis in 2017.
Roger retired in 2015 after a career spanning 40 years in the financial sector specializing in Africa where he has travelled extensively.
His last position was Managing Director for Private clients at Standard Chartered Bank, London, where he was asked to turn around an underperforming business. In 18 months this became a highly profitable unit building on the Banks large Africafootprint.
Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Roger was a member of HSBC EXCO based in Switzerland and Managing director for its Global Private banking business for Africa, South Asia and China.
Roger also spent 20 years at Barclays Bank PLC, gaining experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury, Corporate Banking and Private banking giving him a unique and varied background.
Roger holds an MBA in Corporate strategy from Sheffield and is married with 2 children.
